Polyacetal resin, also known as polyoxymethylene (POM), is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic known for its high strength, stiffness, and excellent wear resistance. It is often used in precision parts requiring low friction, dimensional stability, and good mechanical properties.

Types of Polyacetal Resin
- Homopolymer (POM-H) – Higher strength and stiffness but lower thermal stability.
- Copolymer (POM-C) – Better thermal and chemical resistance, more commonly used.
